Before you start

  • The FitnessAtYourDoor app installed on your phone
  • An email address you can verify (or a Google/Apple account)

    Create your account and verify your email

    Open the app, tap Get Started, then Sign Up. Create your account with Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or an email and password, and accept the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you signed up with email, open the message we send and tap I've Verified My Email.

    Choose “Looking for a Professional”

    On What brings you here?, choose Looking for a Professional and tap Continue.

    Set your training location

    On Where would you like to train? (Step 1 of 3), set where you want to work out. Use the Tap Map tab to drop a pin, or Search to enter an address, city, or ZIP — this is how we show you trainers in your area. Tap the arrow to continue.

    Choose your goals

    On What are your goals? (Step 2 of 3), pick at least one Fitness Goal — Lose Weight, Build Muscle, Improve Health, and more. You can optionally add a Training Style, Sessions Per Week, and a Trainer Preference. Tap Continue.

    Add a profile photo and finish setup

    On Add a profile photo (Step 3 of 3), add a photo so trainers know who they're working with — or tap Skip for now. Then tap Finish Setup to enter the app.

    Complete your medical history

    From your Profile, open the Medical History card and complete the intake form — it covers your health background, goals, and a signature. You can browse trainers and send booking requests first, but your medical history needs to be completed before your first session.

Do I have to finish the medical history form before I can book?

You can browse trainers and send booking requests first, but your medical history must be completed before your first session begins.

Does FAYD match me with a trainer automatically?

No — you choose. After setup you browse trainers near your location and pick the one that fits. Your goals help you decide, but you stay in control.

Can I change my location or goals later?

Yes. You can update your location, goals, and preferences from your profile at any time.

Is a profile photo required?

No. You can tap Skip for now and add one later, though trainers appreciate seeing who they will be working with.

What if I don’t set a location?

You'll need a training location to see nearby trainers — tap the map or search for your address to set it before continuing.
