How to Add Skill Videos to Your Profile
Film a short clip for each of your specializations so clients can watch you work before they book. Here is where the feature lives, what to record, and how review works.

Before you start
- You're an approved FitnessAtYourDoor trainer
- The latest version of the FitnessAtYourDoor app
- At least one specialization on your profile
- Somewhere with good light and not much background noise

Update the app and open your profile
Skill Videos are in the latest version of the app, so update it first. Then sign in, open the Provider tab, and tap Edit on your profile.

Check your Specializations
Your showreel is built from the Specializations on your profile: each one gets its own slot for a clip. If a skill you want to show is not listed, add it under Edit → Specializations first. Until you have at least one, the Skill Videos section reads Add your specialties first.

Open Skill Videos
Tap the Skill Videos row. You will land on Your showreel: one row for each specialization, each with a + Add another button. Tap it on the skill you want to film.

Read the tips, then record or upload
Before the camera opens you get a one-screen brief: a Do this list, a Skip list, and Answer one of these prompts written for that skill. Pick one prompt and answer it on camera.
- Face a window. Good light beats a good camera.
- Talk like a client is standing there.
- Show one thing well, not five things quickly.
- Hold the phone steady, or lean it on something.
Then tap Record now to film inside the app, or Upload from gallery to use a clip already on your phone.

Add a description and submit for review
On Review clip the skill is already tagged for you. Write a one-line Description of what the clip shows, for example A hip-opener flow for people who sit all day. Not happy with it? Tap Retake. Otherwise tap Submit for review. The upload runs in the background and the screen confirms Sent for review.

Wait for approval, then it goes live
Every clip is checked by the FAYD team before it is shown to anyone. While it is In review the row is locked and reads We’ll let you know when it’s live. Once approved it switches to Live and you get a notification. If it comes back Not approved, the notification includes the reason, and you can film a fresh clip for that skill.

See it on your profile
Live clips appear in a new Showreel tab at the top of your profile, both in the app and on your public page at fitnessatyourdoor.com. The tab only shows once you have at least one live clip, so the first one matters. Add more from the same screen with + Add another, or use Replace and Remove to manage clips you have already posted.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
How long can a clip be?
Between 5 and 90 seconds. Clips over 90 seconds are rejected before upload. Record a new one in the app or pick a shorter video.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes, 100 MB per clip. The app warns you above 25 MB when you are on cellular data, but it will still upload if you continue.
How many clips can I add?
There is no cap. You can add several clips for the same specialization, and a clip for every specialization on your profile.
Why does the Skill Videos row say "Add your specialties first"?
Your showreel slots come from the Specializations on your profile. Go to Edit → Specializations, add at least one, and the row will open.
How long does review take?
Usually within a day or two. You will get a notification either way. Until it is approved the clip stays private and clients cannot see it.
What gets a clip sent back?
The most common reasons are unclear audio, music you do not own the rights to, the clip not showing the skill it is tagged with, promoting another business, or unsafe coaching. Filming a client without asking them first is also a no.
My upload is stuck on Uploading. What do I do?
Make sure you have signal and the app stays open until it reads Sent for review. An upload that never finishes is cleared automatically after an hour, so you can simply film it again.
Can I edit a clip after it is live?
You can Replace the video or Remove the clip from your showreel. A replaced video goes back through review before it shows again.
Ready to film your first clip?
Update the app, open Provider → Edit → Skill Videos, and pick the skill you are proudest of.
